Team Oral IV dominates Boston Reebok Spartan Sprint
With temperatures topping out close to 90 degrees this past weekend in New England athletes descended upon Amesbury Sports Park for the Reebok Spartan Sprint. Team Oral IV, comprised of some of the strongest, fittest athletes in obstacle racing showed up in force dominating the weekend. Saturday saw Team Oral IV in full force with teammates Orla Walsh, Sarah Pozdol, and TyAnn Clark competing for the women. A Strong showing by all three made a strong and long lasting impression upon the rest of the field. Meanwhile on the mens side of things Joey Patrolia, Chris McCorkle, Dennis Smith, and newest team member Isaiah Vidal powering through the course. TyAnn Clark posted the fastest time for the womens side of things taking second in a packed field, and Isaiah Vidal rocked through Saturday and Sunday taking home 2nd place both days (doing so Sunday on a sprained ankle). Sticking around for Sunday worked out for team member Joey Patrolia who, after a solid showing Saturday, returned on the next day to dominate with teammate Isaiah and take 3rd place a mere second. Oral IV is quickly compiling one of the strongest Pro-teams in the sport of obstacle racing and entered into talks with yet another top tier athlete from the sport (who cannot be named yet). Each athlete attributes their performance to training, proper nutrition, and hydration before the race with Oral IV a true gamechanger. While tackling the Reebok Spartan Race in Boston Team Oral IV dropped hints as to plans to tackle the Reebok World Championship in Vermont this September.
